1. Acceptance

By using PrepMeal AI you agree to these terms.

2. Description

• PrepMeal AI is an AI-powered meal planning app that generates personalized weekly meal plans based on your fitness goals, dietary preferences, and budget
• The app includes a grocery list manager (including custom items you can add manually), a barcode scanner to instantly look up packaged food nutrition, a "Fit a Treat" feature that adjusts your other meals to accommodate a desired food or snack, meal completion tracking with daily macro targets, weight progress tracker, and weekly plan adherence calendar with daily streak tracking
• An optional iOS home screen widget displays today's meals and calorie totals at a glance
• We may require you to update the app to a minimum version before continuing use. If a critical update is available, a mandatory update screen will appear until the app is updated
• Meal plans are generated by AI and are suggestions only — we are not nutritionists or medical professionals
• The app includes an in-app feedback form so you can suggest features or report issues directly to the developer
• Consult a doctor before making significant dietary changes

3. Subscriptions & Advertising

• Free tier includes 1 AI meal plan generation per month, displays banner ads, and shows a full-screen ad approximately every 3rd app launch
• Pro Monthly ($4.99/month) removes all ads, unlocks up to 5 AI meal plan generations per day (20 per month), Meal Swap (replace individual meals with AI, up to 3 per day), Regenerate Day (replace all meals for any day with AI, counts toward your daily generation limit), Fit a Treat (up to 3 uses per day), Fridge Scan (up to 3 scans per day), and Barcode Scanning (instant nutrition lookup)
• Pro Yearly ($49.99/year) includes all Pro Monthly features at a discounted annual rate — best value
• Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings
• No refunds except as required by Apple/Google policy

4. Notifications

• With your permission, the app sends local notifications including daily meal previews, streak reminders, and re-engagement nudges
• You can enable or disable notifications at any time from Profile → Preferences
• Notifications are delivered locally — no personal data is transmitted to send them

5. AI-Generated Content

• Meal plans are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI and are suggestions only
• AI output may occasionally be inaccurate — always use your own judgment
• We are not nutritionists or medical professionals
• Consult a licensed doctor or dietitian before making significant dietary changes

6. Disclaimers

• Estimated grocery costs are approximations and vary by store and location
• Weight progress data is self-reported and for personal tracking only — it does not constitute medical advice
• We are not responsible for allergic reactions — always read ingredient labels
• The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

7. User Conduct

• You may not use the app for any unlawful purpose
• You may not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract AI prompts or proprietary logic from the app
• You may not create accounts for automated or bulk meal-plan generation
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You may not submit abusive, hateful, or unlawful content through the feedback form

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepMeal AI and its developer are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from use of the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.
